RMS to Host Open House September 2nd
Rippon Middle School will be hosting an Open House on Thursday, September 2nd. Sixth Grade is scheduled from 12:30 - 2 p.m. and Seventh and Eighth Grade is scheduled from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Student schedules will be mailed out earlier in the week on the 30th of August. Parents and students will be able to tour the school, meet the teachers, buy agendas and P.E. uniforms, as well as sign up for lunch and EduLink accounts.
Save the Date!
Back to School Night will be held on September 16th, 2010. Look for more details in the coming weeks on SchoolFusion.

Summer Reading 2010!
The 2010 Summer Reading Program lists for Rippon students is now available for each grade and includes lexile reading scores for most of the selections. The majority of selections come from the Virginia's Reader's Choice Contest for middle school students which is sponsored by the Virginia Readers Association and always includes some great reads! Account and User File Information for this Next School Year 2010-11
- The Edulink-Intouch program will be inaccessible over the summer from June 30th to August 17th.
- Student, faculty/staff, and parent passwords and user ID's will NOT change for this next school year 2010-11. They will be the same as this year.
- Users (students, faculty/staff, and parents)"My Files" and "My Calendar" will continue to have their files saved for this next school year 2010-11. Therefore users do not have to save their files unless they want to as an added backup.
Graduation Requirement for 2010-11 Delayed!

Important Information from Our Clinic
MEDICATION PICK-UP
PLEASE REMEMBER TO PICK UP ALL STUDENT MEDICATION OR SUPPLIES FROM THE CLINIC BY JUNE 17TH. ALL MEDICATION NOT PICKED UP BY 11:00 ON JUNE 18TH, WILL BE DISCARDED ACCORDING TO PWSC REGULATION.
REQUIRED IMMUNIZATIONS
It is MANDATORY for all rising 6th graders to be vaccinated for Tetanus, Diptheria, and Pertussis (Tdap) prior to the first day of school. This applies to all students who have not had a tetanus shot in the last 5 years. Students must provide written proof of either the Tdap vaccine or a waiver from your doctor.
